Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support through all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and closure
- Draft and prepare court filings, pleadings, and supporting exhibits
- Prepare, review, and respond to discovery requests
- Assist with deposition, hearing, and mediation preparation
- Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts
- Coordinate and manage electronic discovery
- Maintain case dockets, deadlines, and attorney calendars
- Organize case files and maintain thorough documentation throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong background in mass tort and/or casualty litigation
- In-depth understanding of the litigation process and court procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines with accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Team player with a flexible, positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative
