Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and strategic background, with expertise in Martech stack management. The Marketing Technology Manager is responsible for leading a team and collaborating closely with colleagues across the Marketing + Brand (M+B) group and outside agencies. This position requires an innovative, creative technologist who will be responsible for the vision and oversight of how to leverage the power of the digital environment to reach members, prospective members, and our communities. In collaboration with the Marketing Strategy and Creative team the Marketing Technology Manager will use their knowledge and experience in marketing automation, digital technology platforms, communications, brand building and media trends to develop, optimize, and enhance the marketing ecosystem for Lake Trust.
What you'll doMarTech Strategy & Technology Leadership - Develop and execute a comprehensive MarTech strategy aligned with business goals.
- Own and optimize the MarTech stack, ensuring seamless integration between CRM, marketing automation, data platforms, and analytics tools.
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven marketing solutions/arbitration for personalized member experiences.
- Drive adoption of predictive analytics and automation to improve targeting, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance with GDPR, TCPA, Can-Spam and industry regulations.
Marketing Automation & AI-Powered Personalization - Oversee the deployment of AI-driven, behavior-based marketing automation workflows.
- Develop omnichannel engagement strategies across email, SMS, web, paid media, and mobile app notifications.
- Leverage data insights to improve conversion rates, member retention, and upsell opportunities.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Analytics - Implement and manage marketing performance dashboards to measure ROI, attribution, and campaign effectiveness.
- Lead A/B testing, segmentation strategies, and predictive modeling to optimize marketing impact.
- Collaborate with data science teams to develop propensity models for lead scoring, churn prediction, and member lifecycle marketing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership - Partner with marketing, IT, product, and sales teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of MarTech specialists, data analysts, and automation experts.
- Provide training on MarTech best practices and innovation opportunities.
Marketing Technology Operations - Partner closely with our creative and strategy to ensure we have the latest tools and technology for us to continue to drive efficiency (creative, project management tools).
- Collaborate closely with our reputation management (Yext, Brandwatch and social media management) to manage relationships with key vendors and optimize platforms so that we are moving at the speed of innovation.
- Manage the latest technology developments to support our CMS/Website experience.
- Own performance management for our website. This is inclusive key website KPIs.
What you'll bring - Bachelor's degree in marketing, technology, digital marketing, marketing, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 8 + years professional experience in digital marketing and technology with 3 + years of experience in developing strategy across a wide range of digital marketing platforms.
- 3 + years' experience in a leadership capacity.
- Experience partnering with external providers including research agencies, advertising agencies, PR agencies, media buying services, web design firms.
