Summary:

This position is responsible for providing support to the marketing team. This position will generate reports, identify marketing communication needs and work with team members to develop and execute projects, and participate in coordinating marketing and agency events.

Functions:
  • Assist with efforts in developing, refreshing, and distributing sales and marketing materials.
  • Work alongside the Agency Relations Coordinator to provide support in ensuring data integrity between Salesforce, gBiz, AS400 and other systems.
  • Assist with the development of marketing content for the website and various social media channels in cooperation with the corporate communications manager.
  • Work alongside other members of the Marketing team to execute campaigns.
  • Work with our independent agencies to encourage the use of company marketing materials in their advertising campaigns; manage the company co-op program.
  • Assist with planning agenda and logistics of Partnership Council, agency cluster meetings, focus groups, and other marketing events.
  • Advance personal and professional development through job related education, networking, and research.
  • Perform various other tasks to support sales and marketing efforts in all states represented by our agents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent education required.
  • Ability to learn procedurals concepts required.
  • Ability to work effectively with company computer systems required.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills required.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across different departments in the Company required.
  • Ability to work independently and assist in the coordination of various marketing activities required.
  • Ability to work in an office environment with moderate noise level, remain in a stationary position and operate a computer most of the time required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, travel to all organization offices (including in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and South Dakota) and travel to vendor work sites required.

  • Ability to move throughout the office to access work materials and to move work materials weighing up to ten pounds daily required.
