Position Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Paid time off:
  • An accrual of 80 hours Vacation
  • Up to 6 paid sick days per year. (varies based on state sick leave laws)

Position Summary:The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing efforts across digital platforms. This role will oversee paid advertising, manage community websites, and coordinate with vendors to support marketing initiatives for our multifamily housing communities, including new construction lease-ups.

Location: This position is based in Tacoma, WA (preferred). A hybrid work arrangement may be available depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads and social media advertising to drive traffic and engagement
  • Oversee apartment and community management websites, ensuring accuracy and SEO best practices
  • Support new construction lease-up marketing efforts
  • Coordinate third-party vendor services, including:
  • 3D floorplans and sitemaps
  • Professional apartment photography
  • Manage and grow social media channels for multiple properties
  • Create, edit, and distribute marketing materials for both print and digital use
  • Assist with the design and delivery of newsletters and promotional flyers
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales principles and techniques
  • Experience with web-based marketing and digital communication strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a marketing-related role
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and other design tools
  • Experience with RealPage's Marketing Center preferred
  • Property management and/or affordable housing experience is a plus
Must be able to complete all required training within thirty (30) days of hire date.
