About the Role
As part of a fast-paced marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will wear many hats-taking ownership of everything from product copywriting and website updates to campaign launches and performance reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys seeing their work directly impact results. You'll play a central role in maintaining and growing our digital presence while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling ad copy for all new products across all channels, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
- Build and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with promotional calendars.
- Proofread all marketing materials-including ad copy, catalogs, flyers, emails, and digital content-for accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with the design and IT teams to update website content including product pages, promotional banners, landing pages, and blog posts.
- Plan and launch promotional campaigns, seasonal activations, and product drops.
- Manage product listings: write product descriptions, implement SEO keywords, update products.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms to measure campaign performance and identify insights.
- Maintain marketing reports and communicate performance metrics, ROI, and key learnings.
- Ensure brand standards are upheld across all digital touchpoints.
- Support ad hoc marketing and ecommerce projects as needed.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in email marketing strategy and execution.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with platforms like ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and basic HTML.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices.
- Some experience with backend website management and ecommerce platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
