About the Role

As part of a fast-paced marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will wear many hats-taking ownership of everything from product copywriting and website updates to campaign launches and performance reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys seeing their work directly impact results. You'll play a central role in maintaining and growing our digital presence while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience across all channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Write compelling ad copy for all new products across all channels, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with promotional calendars.
  • Proofread all marketing materials-including ad copy, catalogs, flyers, emails, and digital content-for accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the design and IT teams to update website content including product pages, promotional banners, landing pages, and blog posts.
  • Plan and launch promotional campaigns, seasonal activations, and product drops.
  • Manage product listings: write product descriptions, implement SEO keywords, update products.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms to measure campaign performance and identify insights.
  • Maintain marketing reports and communicate performance metrics, ROI, and key learnings.
  • Ensure brand standards are upheld across all digital touchpoints.
  • Support ad hoc marketing and ecommerce projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in email marketing strategy and execution.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with platforms like ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and basic HTML.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices.
  • Some experience with backend website management and ecommerce platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
