MARKETING PROMOTIONS SPECIALIST
Healio is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Promotions Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts. This position will serve as Account Manager for clients and projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- the production of marketing promotions, including direct response communications
- email, social and other web-based promotions
- public relations
- other marketing collateral
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
- account management
- project budget maintenance
- writing/editing
- proofreading
Goals include:
- quality of work including creativity and concept development, accuracy, thoroughness, dependability, and reliability
- quantity of work, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- client skills including maintaining good relationships, open communication and independent problem solving
- product knowledge of all accounts, general knowledge of marketing tactics, the initiative to continuously improve knowledge and the ability to challenge the status quo
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- excellent writing and proofreading skills
- familiarity with Microsoft Office
- the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
A minimum of 2-years' experience preferred. Experience in event promotion is helpful. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. A working knowledge of InDesign, HTML, and email delivery software helpful. The ability to interact with all levels of the company, work as part of a team, solve problems and take direction.
The annual base salary for this position is $45,000 to $50,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.
