The Marketing Outreach Events Coordinators will assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining and developing marketing, branding and retention initiatives. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting with planning, coordinating, and implementing large-scale, community events. The Marketing Outreach Events Coordinator must be flexible and dependable, and able and to work independently and in a team setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ongoing communication with vendors via phone and email; answering questions, promoting events, working out logistics, and processing registration materials.
- Resolves conflict, trouble shoots, interacts with vendors, staff and contractors, and provides the highest levels of communication and customer service.
- Must coordinate all printing efforts via our assigned printing vendor (360 Degrees),
- Maintain and track inventory of all marketing items/giveaways as stored with our printing vendor (360 Degrees).
- Assists with day-to-day event planning and preparations for event activities; set up, tear down, and event management, including coordinating physical labor needed by Facilities Maintenance staff.
- Assists in researching, planning, and coordinating effective community-wide special events.
- Assists in ensuring the quality of the community events.
- Coordinates supplies needed for events.
- Communicates event details, internally and externally; works as a team with other departments to solicit full support for event needs.
- Supports in managing various contract services within company guidelines.
- Responsible for actively researching, identifying, and recruiting potential vendors or and screening potential partnership opportunities.
- Maintains a safe environment for associates, their guests, staff, and the general public.
- Creates graphic designs for marketing and other departments.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in event marketing or similar role.
Skills:
- Detailed oriented, accurate, and have proven analytical skills
- Computer Skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and possess strong keyboarding, data entry, and telephone skills.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Must have aptitude for detail, highly effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills are also required for this public-facing position.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skill
- Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish)
