Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our Business Development Team for a hands-on learning experience from June through September. Reporting to the Event & Partnership Director, the intern will assist with event planning, logistics, and partnership initiatives while also supporting the Locations Manager in securing housing for field teams across various markets. This role offers exposure to the full event lifecycle-from initial concept and planning to execution and post-event analysis-while also providing logistical and operational support for company infrastructure and housing.
Responsibilities:
Events & Partnerships
- Assist with all aspects of event planning, including scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, swag ordering, collateral shipping, transportation, accommodations, invitations, RSVP tracking, registration, contracts, staffing, and post-event recaps.
- Support content creation for company social media and website to promote events and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
- Represent the company professionally at events, providing excellent hospitality and clear communication via phone, email, and in person.
Locations & Housing Support
- Short-Term Housing Management: Identify and coordinate accommodations for field staff in various markets.
- Utility & Service Coordination: Coordinate the setup and management of utilities for company housing, maintaining organized records of accounts and service providers.
- Expense Tracking & Coordination: Assist in monitoring operational expenses, including dockage fees, fuel accounts, and related costs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely payments.
- Logistics & Operations Support: Help organize and maintain key documentation for market locations and support seasonal housing transitions and utility changes.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Locations Manager as needed.
