Description

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing marketing operations, with a primary focus on leveraging customer relationship management (CRM) system capabilities, managing the marketing technology stack, and executing successful marketing campaigns. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on execution to drive effective marketing initiatives, improve operations, enhance guest engagement, and ensure alignment with the resort's business goals.

Marketing Technology & Automation Management:
  • Oversee and maintain the entire marketing technology stack, including CRM systems, project management tools, email marketing, and analytics tools, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within marketing workflows to improve efficiencies and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors for system integrations, troubleshooting, and technology upgrades, ensuring systems are secure and compliant.
Marketing Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that promote the casino resort offerings and enhance customer engagement.
  • Strategize opportunities to increase incremental business through campaigns with management.
  • Serve as the marketing project manager for integrated campaigns, ensuring timely execution, monitoring, and analysis.
  • Assist in the creation, development, and implementation of an effective strategy designed to maximize profitability.
CRM System Management:
  • Set up, configure, and maintain CRM system for lead generation, tracking, automation, and reporting, ensuring its optimal use across marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage workflows, list segmentation, and lead nurturing strategies to drive guest engagement and improve marketing efficiency.
Campaign Execution & Automation:
  • Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, digital advertising), leveraging CRM system and analytics tools.
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation for more personalized and relevant marketing communications.
  • Build automated workflows for loyalty programs, promotions, and player engagement initiatives, ensuring optimal customer lifecycle management.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Oversee marketing analytics, ensuring data is captured, analyzed, and utilized to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and overall strategy.
  • Provide detailed reporting on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as campaign ROI, customer retention, engagement, and revenue attribution, offering data-backed recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms and CRM systems, addressing any inconsistencies and ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Partner with Gaming, Resort, and Sales teams to ensure marketing efforts align with overall casino promotions, loyalty programs, and guest experience objectives.
  • Work closely with IT and Finance to align technology investments and manage resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and external agencies to develop compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement and builds loyalty.
  • Manage external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery and execution of marketing initiatives, while optimizing costs and results.
Budget & Resource Management:
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across campaigns and technologies.
  • Track and report on budget performance, offering insights on resource optimization.
Training & Team Development:
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on CRM system and other marketing technologies, fostering a culture of learning and technological competence within the department.
  • Stay current with emerging marketing technologies and best practices, recommending new tools and strategies to keep the team and resort at the cutting edge of marketing innovation.
Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing managerial role in the gaming industry will be accepted in place of the degree requirement.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing operations, with demonstrated success in campaign execution, project management, and the use of CRM systems and marketing technologies.
  • Experience in digital marketing channels (e.g., email, social media, paid media), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Class III Gaming License issued by the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
