Job Description The Marketing Operations Manager expertly supports activities to maintain and evolve marketing effectiveness through the organization of processes, technology and human resources, allowing marketing to efficiently scale with quality and consistency. The function serves as the backbone of the UL Solutions Marketing team, delivering planning, governance and support functions to allow traditional marketing functions to focus on delivering value. Increases marketing efficiency, effectiveness, agility and business contribution through process, infrastructure, marketing technology tools/solutions, and measurement support.
Responsibilities - Support the development of scalable processes within the department that guarantee best practices
- Expertly support Workfront Core, Workfront Fusion, and database health
- Expertly support external and internal marketing technology stack analysis projects and activities as related to Workfront
- Expertly support marketing system integrations and migrations projects and activities for acquired companies
- Build, maintain and leverage strong cross-functional working relationships with peers across the organization with business units, client services, sales, operations and finance
- Expertly support the ongoing analysis of marketing investments, pipeline impact and goal setting to the Marketing leadership team
- Expertly support analytics projects and activities to support team performance objectives and overall governance
- Expertly support projects and activities on visibility and analysis of results; provide analyses and interpretations of campaign data and market insights to identify key drivers for improvement
- Conducts regular audits on system utilization and data to increase system quality and resolve inconsistencies
- Expertly support projects and activities on planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Marketing department
- Expertly champions and supports optimization projects
- Has accountability for the performance and results within own discipline or function
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
QualificationsMinimum knowledge preferred - Generally, six to eight years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency
Minimum skills preferred - Workfront Core and Workfront Fusion Expert
- Understanding of Marketing functions and processes
