Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions. We are partnering with our Portland, OR B2B sustainable manufacturing client to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be a broad strokes marketing expert for the organization as they continue expanding and evolving in Portland. This role combines a blend of strategic, creative and lead generation responsibilities. You will own branding and positioning efforts for the firm's US function, ensuring marketing channels reflect a consistent brand voice that accurately leverages the company's brand differentiators. You will write, edit and place content for the brand, optimizing the website and the brand's digital presence, creating materials that enable sales people, and curate product information. You will also run tactical digital marketing campaigns with an end-goal of driving leads, new business and brand awareness, working across email, paid and organic media, social, SEO and similar. Not all of this work will be done tactically by you - you will have the opportunity to vet and onboard agency partners, contractors or similar. To be a fit, you should bring 3+ years of B2B marketing experience with deep knowledge of the aforementioned duties. Digital aptitude and lead generation experience is crucial, with proficiency in email marketing, CRM and ad tools.


This organization has a positive mission and focus on sustainable manufacturing, so you'll be good about the work you are doing day-to-day. They are a rapidly expanding organization, and you will be a founding member of this local team. This is a salaried role based on relevant experience, ranging between $70,000 and $90,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental and vision options, along with stock and bonus potential. This is a hybrid role in Downtown Portland that will lean primarily onsite, so comfort commuting to the office consistently is a must.


You will:

  • Own the positioning and brand for the US and local Portland operations of this organization, further curating and ensuring consistency in brand guidelines, voice and the like, with a focus on the organization's value proposition and sustainable practices
  • Write, edit and streamline all content for the organization, heavily focused on optimizing the brand's digital presence, web content, sales enablement materials and integrated campaigns
  • Manage demand generation strategy and campaign execution across email, social, paid and organic media, etc., providing insights to sales and leadership teams and tracking ROI
  • Manage relationships with agencies, contractors and other relevant vendors to the marketing department
  • Support other integrated marketing, communications and sales enablement duties, as needed

Your experience should include:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience in the B2B space
  • Experience in hard goods manufacturing selling in the commercial, B2B sector; Experience working with sustainable manufacturers or similar, a plus
  • In-depth knowledge demand generation, GTM strategy and similar
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in email marketing, CRM, social media, paid advertising and creative tools
  • Comfort in a generalist role within a startup environment
  • Experience communicating with leadership and stakeholders to provide analytics, market intel and similar
