Web Digital Marketing Strategist - Contract


Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid - Onsite Tues/Weds/Thurs)

Duration: Contract with potential for extension

Start Time: Onsite arrival between 8:30-9:00 AM


About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Web Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Digital Marketing Web team. This role plays a key part in transforming our B2B SaaS and Pro Tax offerings from traditional telesales to a modern e-commerce model. You will focus on optimizing the digital customer journey, improving conversion rates, and elevating campaign performance through strategic insights, analytics, and experience design.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies focused on increasing web engagement and e-commerce conversion.
  • Lead and deliver high-impact campaign landing pages and web experiences using CMS platforms and front-end tools (HTML/CSS; JavaScript a plus).
  • Analyze web KPIs and campaign performance data to generate insights and drive data-informed optimizations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including design, copywriting, and segment marketing to build and refine user journeys.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve content performance, form completion rates, and user flow.
  • Monitor page performance and user behavior to identify friction points and recommend UX improvements.
  • Stay current on competitive trends, testing methodologies, and emerging web technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital marketing or web marketing experience, ideally in eCommerce or B2B SaaS environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate customer insights into innovative digital experiences.
  • Proficient in web analytics, performance reporting, and experimentation tools (e.g. A/B, sequential, multi-arm bandit testing).
  • Experience with content management systems (AEM, WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript familiarity a plus.
  • Skilled in using Figma and translating design specs into live experiences.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.

  • Passionate about user experience, web traffic analysis, and optimizing digital journeys.
  • Strong communicator who can influence across cross-functional teams and leadership levels.
  • Experience with digital acquisition strategies and familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
