Web Digital Marketing Strategist - Contract
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid - Onsite Tues/Weds/Thurs)
Duration: Contract with potential for extension

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Web Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Digital Marketing Web team. This role plays a key part in transforming our B2B SaaS and Pro Tax offerings from traditional telesales to a modern e-commerce model. You will focus on optimizing the digital customer journey, improving conversion rates, and elevating campaign performance through strategic insights, analytics, and experience design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies focused on increasing web engagement and e-commerce conversion.
- Lead and deliver high-impact campaign landing pages and web experiences using CMS platforms and front-end tools (HTML/CSS; JavaScript a plus).
- Analyze web KPIs and campaign performance data to generate insights and drive data-informed optimizations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including design, copywriting, and segment marketing to build and refine user journeys.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve content performance, form completion rates, and user flow.
- Monitor page performance and user behavior to identify friction points and recommend UX improvements.
- Stay current on competitive trends, testing methodologies, and emerging web technologies.
Requirements
- 6+ years of digital marketing or web marketing experience, ideally in eCommerce or B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate customer insights into innovative digital experiences.
- Proficient in web analytics, performance reporting, and experimentation tools (e.g. A/B, sequential, multi-arm bandit testing).
- Experience with content management systems (AEM, WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript familiarity a plus.
- Skilled in using Figma and translating design specs into live experiences.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
