Summary
Grand Central Terminal (GCT) and Grand Central Madison (GCM) are world-recognized as centers of regional transportation, civic architecture, and commerce - all at once embodying the historic, economic, cultural, and optimistic spirit of New York City. Spinoso Real Estate Group (SREG) serves as the Retail Property Manager on behalf of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Metro North for these premier New York City landmarks, tasked with managing the retail portion of the terminals to the standards set by MTA stakeholders. The Marketing Manager will assist the Senior Marketing Manager with all marketing strategies and public outreach initiatives for GCT/GCM. This dynamic role requires an extensive understanding of implementing comprehensive marketing plans, social media management, event coordination, and brand identity. With a monthly foot traffic of 900,000 visitors, the Marketing Manager will work amongst a skilled marketing team, ensuring tenant support and driving campaigns to position GCT/GCM as a premier New York City destination. The ideal candidate will excel at assisting the team with fostering engagement among the public, stakeholders, and businesses, ultimately increasing foot traffic and enhancing GCT/GCM's relevance in the highly competitive retail, restaurant, and tourism sectors of NYC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the Sr. Marketing Manager with fostering relationships with GCT retail tenant partners through regular check-ins and responding to requests and inquiries.
• Aid the Sr. Marketing Manager on tenant onboarding, including but not limited to attending new tenant intro meetings, walk throughs, responding to follow-up emails, and coordinating on store launches and opening promotions.
• Develop system to track tenant support: recent contact with marketing team, eblast metrics, and campaign analytics.
• Collaborate with marketing staff to schedule meetings with tenants to share promotional opportunities, welcome new tenants, and answer support requests.
• Serve as the point person for any changes required to the GCT/GCM website, including but not limited to, adding new events, changing page copy, updating tenant directory, and any minor troubleshooting.
• Curate content, including creative and copy, for all GCT social media channels and through MailChimp.
• Review daily posts after they go live to ensure proper functionality across all platforms, verify that music elements play correctly, links to other accounts are accurate, and captions are free of errors.
• Actively monitor and respond to DMs and comments on all social accounts, repost tenant stories, and gather permission to repost customer-generated content.
• Keep up-to-date and engage with the latest postings on and coordinate collaborations with the MTA main social accounts.
• Connect with influencers recommended to us by our partnered PR firm and organize small group events or giveaways for any influencers that visit GCT/GCM.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Marketing Manager on finding new trends in media to strengthen GCT/GCM's digital presence and exposure to attract a wider and more diverse audience.
• Join forces with the marketing staff on the ideation, development, and production of retail marketing events and cultural activities that support tenant retail marketing objectives and provide additional experiences to incentivize visitors to GCT/GCM.
• Aid in managing vendor relationships for retail marketing events, coordinating temporary staffing needs such as brand ambassadors, security, and cleaning personnel.
• Provide marketing support with the rest of the marketing team for the commercial rentals in GCT/GCM event spaces.

• Co-manage GCT Marketing's support for the Holiday Fair, overseeing sponsor collaborations, vendor assistance, and guiding Applied Design on the execution of creative deliverables, including print, onsite signage, digital content, and advertising.
• Assist with the ideation, development, and production of retail marketing events and cultural activities that support tenant retail marketing objectives and provide additional experiences to incentivize visitors to GCT/GCM.
• Manage kiosk poster inventory and manage tenant requests, ensuring posters are updated and coordinating with engineers for timely installation.
• Cooperate on special marketing projects for MTA and SREG, as requested. Qualification Requirements
• Availability to be on-site throughout the week with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
• Proven success in following marketing plans and implementing campaigns.
• Strong project management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized individual, detail & deadline oriented.
• Excellent and effective communicator that can work comfortably in a professional and fast-paced setting.
• Proven personable and professional attitude with a desire to be collaborative.
• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
• Proven success in establishing a marketing brand identity and curating content within brand guidelines.
• Intermediate math skills and excellent analytical ability.
• Intermediate to expert ability in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Intermediate to expert ability in using various social media platforms.
• Extensive background using MailChimp or an equivalent email distribution software.
• Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, iMovie, Clips, and Adobe SparkPost is required.
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Agorapulse, is preferred.
• Must be able to adhere to the Pillars of an SREG Marketing Manager. Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) preferably in marketing from a four-year college or university preferred; Associate degree in marketing required
• Three years of related marketing experience in a relevant field Physical Demands

Social Media
• Social Media is a fundamental part of the marketing program and the Marketing Manager (MM) must have a full understanding and knowledge on current social media trends. This includes daily management of all social accounts, best practices, trends, and the differences between each platform.
• Style
• The MM should adhere to portfolio guidelines, ensuring that the brand's visual identity is maintained across all posts, including the "look and feel" of graphics and videos.
• The MM is responsible for maintaining the brand's voice-the "personality" of the mall-through post copy, stories, comments, and replies to followers.
• Foundation
• The MM is responsible for strategically managing the timing of posts on all social media channels, ensuring they align with optimal engagement times.
• The MM should be familiar with partner social media accounts, following them closely to ensure proper tagging during collaborations.
• Keeping property information up-to-date on Facebook and Instagram-including hours, address, phone number, and other essential details-is a key responsibility.
