Position Overview

This role is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a mission-based team in an organization dedicated to increasing philanthropic giving through donor advised funds. As the Client Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in advancing the organization's mission and strategic goals by driving brand loyalty, client retention and growth, and product adoption within target segments. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and oversee the execution of marketing, partnership, PR, event, and product strategies that strengthen client engagement and fuel business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team of design, content, marketing, and project management professionals
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and talent development to build internal capabilities
  • Foster a collaborative and open culture where ideas and feedback are continuously exchanged to drive innovation
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across client segments and channels, aligning with business objectives and client lifecycle stages
  • Set and lead strategies focused on client acquisition, growth, and retention, leveraging content marketing, email campaigns, events, PR, partnerships, and thought leadership
  • Encourage experimentation and innovation, ensuring marketing efforts differentiate the organization and drive adoption of services and features
  • Guide product positioning and recommend opportunities for new offerings based on market insights and evolving client needs
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, optimizing spend based on performance metrics and strategic priorities
  • Ensure compliance and quality control by overseeing the review and approval of all marketing materials and coordinating with legal counsel on communications and programs
  • Track and report on marketing performance, using data to assess progress against goals and inform decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with key internal teams-including Business Development, Product, Client Services, and Research-to align on messaging, strategy, and progress toward shared goals
  • Support organizational strategy as part of the Leadership Group, actively communicating strategic plans and contributing to cross-functional initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree in marketing or communications preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing/communications experience, including brand strategy, content creation, and advertising
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide teams and drive results
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce
  • Experience in or with nonprofit organizations and donor communities is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex issues and assess short- and long-term impacts
  • Skilled in synthesizing complex information to support sound, balanced decision-making grounded in both client and business needs
  • Proven track record of successful team collaboration on major projects or initiatives
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management, time management, and prioritization abilities

Compensation

  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
