Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives targeting key stakeholders in the equine industry, including veterinarians, trainers, farriers, and barn managers. This role is responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies that drive engagement, brand visibility, and commercial growth within this specialized segment.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the equine market, a passion for brand storytelling, and a results-driven approach to campaign execution. This position reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates closely with sales, internal marketing teams, and external partners to deliver impactful, persona-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all marketing materials reflect brand standards and maintain consistency across all equine professional touchpoints.
- Persona-Based Strategy: Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for distinct equine personas (e.g., veterinarians, trainers, farriers, barn managers).
- Campaign Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, aligning with business objectives and KPIs such as engagement, MQLs, and SQLs.
- Asset Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of campaign assets including digital content, training tools, webinars, and print materials.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Create comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and key initiatives within the equine segment.
- Media Execution: Manage media strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels to maximize reach and performance.
- Promotional Activities: Coordinate promotional efforts to support campaign goals and enhance brand presence in the equine market.
- Lead Nurturing: Design and implement lead flow strategies using persona-based content to guide prospects through the marketing funnel.
- Event Marketing: Plan and execute equine-focused events and trade show participation in collaboration with Corporate Affairs.
- Influencer Engagement: Build relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, and ambassadors to strengthen brand credibility.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in brand or digital marketing roles.
- Direct experience in the equine industry is required.
- Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-starter with a proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset.
