Job Summary:


We are a medical technology company seeking a Marketing Manager who will support the company's product road map, ensure the successful introduction and subsequent sales growth of the Company's innovative products into diabetes and healthy living markets. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the Company's long-term success. The ideal candidate has experience in health apps and/or medical devices, with particular emphasis on the diabetes market. Our Marketing Manager will work with the marketing team on the development and execution of growth strategies for the Nutu app and other products building awareness, driving user acquisition, and. Providing supportive customer service. The idea candidate has experience in healthcare marketing and a passion for improving the lives of our customers.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


Marketing

  • Develop short-and long-term plans that support specific product goals, translating these plans into defined objectives, deliverables, and forecasts.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, media, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage content across various marketing channels, including social media, email, website, PR, and influencer partnerships. Support and manage relationships with PR firms, marketing agencies, and other external partners to align messaging and maximize campaign impact. Ensure consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and positioning across all marketing materials.
  • Create and adhere to the Marketing budget, ensuring a creative and clear pathway to goals
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Track competitor activities and industry developments to inform marketing strategies.

Commercialization


  • Support product commercialization efforts through lead generation campaigns, digital marketing, and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement commercialization plans for respective product.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand visibility.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research and analysis, including market & customer segments, market trends, and technology trends.
  • Continuously evaluate competitors, market developments, and opportunities for and challenges to growth.

Product Development

  • Actively engage in product development, providing marketing and business development leadership a vision to apply the Company's technologies to customers' needs.
  • Incorporate customer relevance and usability into the product development process.
  • Apply market research and a sense of the customer to the product development process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration; MBA or advanced degree desirable
  • 5-7 years of experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience working with healthcare ideally with experience in diabetes marketing.
  • Proven success with commercial release of consumer health products in both D2C and B2B environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets for forecasting and analysis

  • Varying amounts of travel are required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:


This position is in Irvine, CA.


This position primarily works in an office. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. It requires sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer display or other digital devices. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Standing for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities may be required. Varying amounts of travel are required, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
