Working closely with the Consulting Marketing Director and the RSM Business Leader for Managed Cloud and Infrastructure Services (MCI), the MCI Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and go-to-market plan to help RSM grow its Managed Cloud and Infrastructure solutions business at scale. This individual will assist in developing marketing plans supporting our managed IT services and infrastructure capabilities across consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of managed IT services, the B2B technology space, and proven expertise in developing effective marketing strategies in the B2B sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with key business leaders for Managed Cloud and Infrastructure capabilities.
- Understand business and strategic priorities, including growth targets.
- Embed within the Service Line team as a leadership team member.
- Analyze the marketplace and buyer personas to incorporate the "voice of the client" into marketing strategies.
- Create and secure buy-in for marketing strategies, including target audiences and value propositions.
- Develop deep understanding of buyer needs, RSM positioning, and differentiators to facilitate content creation with SMEs.
- Coordinate with Demand Generation to translate marketing strategies into demand program strategies.
- Define and monitor key marketing metrics such as pipeline and leads.
- Report on marketing results to the business.
- Align marketing strategies across service lines and industries by collaborating with other marketing teams.
- Evaluate requests for marketing support and determine appropriate activities in collaboration with the demand generation team.
- Work with the COE on marketing enablement needs and review all marketing materials.
- Manage web content for the service line and coordinate updates with the COE.
- Plan marketing strategies for new product launches.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of leading marketing/growth experience in a B2B environment.
- Experience with application providers and joint go-to-market plans is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise solutions and IT software marketing is preferred.
Technical/Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new subject areas quickly.
Leadership Skills:
- Understanding of various marketing channels.
