Position Summary
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader with a passion for storytelling, content creation, event marketing, and brand experience. In this role, you'll lead SKG's brand and content strategy, oversee marketing planning and execution, and own the coordination of events that bring our brand to life. This role is ideal for a versatile marketer who thrives on collaboration, takes initiative, and is energized by bringing ideas to life.
Reports to: Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Content Strategy
- Own and manage SKG's integrated marketing calendar-balancing brand campaigns, content drops, events, and seasonal initiatives.
- Maintain and evolve brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact stories and content opportunities that align with business goals.
Content Creation & Enablement
- Develop compelling marketing assets-email newsletters, case studies, presentations, RFP responses, sales collateral, product spotlights, and thought leadership content.
- Keep decks, brochures, and web content fresh, on-brand, and aligned to industry-specific client needs.
- Partner with sales and sector leads to create tailored materials that support conversion and engagement.
- Write, edit, and oversee production of content across formats-articles, social copy, website, and short-form video.
Events & Experiences
- Lead planning and execution of all marketing-driven events, including showroom open houses, client activations, industry conferences, and community engagements.
- Work cross-functionally to align events with marketing objectives and business development goals.
- Create pre- and post-event marketing strategies to maximize visibility and impact.
Campaign Execution & Innovation
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaign ideas that engage target audiences and elevate SKG's brand presence.
- Experiment with new platforms, content formats, and storytelling tools (embedded video, interactive media, AI tools, etc.) to amplify reach and resonance.
- Provide guidance on how to best present ideas visually and digitally.
Collaboration & Agency Management
- Serve as a key liaison between marketing and cross-functional teams, gathering insights and aligning content with organizational priorities.
- Manage agency, freelance, intern, and vendor relationships to support execution across design, content, events, and digital marketing channels.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in brand, content, or integrated marketing roles (experience in design, commercial-grade furniture, or interiors industries is a plus)
- A skilled writer and communicator with a sharp eye for design and detail
- Confident multitasker and project manager-able to move between strategic thinking and tactical execution with ease
- A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across teams and levels
- Familiar with tools like PowerPoint, Canva, HubSpot, Sprout Social, and CMS platforms
- Experience producing content across formats and planning memorable events
- Creative, organized, curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
