What you will do:

  • The Marketing Manager is accountable for delivering on the marketing responsibilities for the Adhesive and Caulk/Sealant segments within Polymers Americas region. This includes aligning long term strategic objectives across the market teams including achieving our revenue and profit targets within the region. This individual is responsible for defining and executing the regional business strategy that consistently links to the long-term global market strategies - this requires leadership across the functional business teams. Managing to the key financial profitability metrics and positioning the portfolio for profitable top line growth will be leading indicators of success, in addition to supporting project or process implementation.

  • This individual will report to the Polymers Regional Head of Marketing. Establishing effective working relationships with representatives across the broader organization is essential. This position also has responsibility for anticipating, understanding and managing the impact of changes in the competitive environment, new technology, and downstream markets along with implementing global project/process initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in preferably in a technical field required, Chemistry, Engineering. Master's degree desirable.
  • Ideally 3+ years in sales and marketing management or in a role that heavily interfaces-supports these functions.
  • Broad business background in sales, marketing, technology, commercial development, and supply chain functions.
  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed global organization preferably in specialty chemical markets
  • Managing or heavily interfacing with sales and technology organizations focused on product development, application development, technical service, and market optimization is key
  • Leadership and influence skills - especially across a matrixed organization.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented - willingness to accept personal responsibility and accountability for results of the business.
  • Ability to define strategic direction and then translate into actionable objectives to be executed across the matrix (business) team and negotiate contractual agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
