Job Description
This role can be hired as a Grade 18 or 19; candidate experience will determine grade.
The Marketing Manager I/II, HCP, will play a critical role in refining strategy and evolving messaging for in-office promotional tactics for a newly launched Parkinsons therapy. This role reports to the Associate Director of HCP Marketing. This person will lead the evolution of essential HCP resources such as the ISA and derivative materials, which set the tone for the brand story across channels. Additionally, the MM will work closely with training to co-create field training plans, response messaging and new FAQs based on the changing landscape and business developments. The MM will also play a role in managing inventory and dissemination of demonstration materials to the field. This person will work in partnership with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
This person must demonstrate strong competency in communication, and strategic thinking and analytical skills to successfully execute against the brands strategic plans. Strong collaboration with the Integrated Brand Team and Sales Leadership Teams is essential in this role. This role provides the opportunity to work on a breakthrough launch brand in a growing business unit with significant exposure to senior leadership.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Shepherd new data through the CFL process for commercial use
- Lead evolution of messaging/optimizations of in-office promotional materials including the ISA
- Manage demonstration device inventory
- Liaison with the training team to co-create training plans, response messaging and FAQs as needed
- Build expert disease state and brand knowledge
- Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to review and approve promotional materials
- Partner with market research to gain insights and deep understanding of our customers
- Develop robust working relationships with key customers (both internal and external) through exceptional communication and partnership practices
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple agencies and external vendors to plan for, prioritize, and execute brand tactics while managing budget to plan
- Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies (ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies) and applicable external regulatory requirements
Preferred Experience:
- At least 2 years of HCP Marketing experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Marketing experience with proof of building proficiencies in all marketing skills
