The Clark Pacific Marketing Intern is a positive and detail-oriented professional that will assist with the creation and evolution of our content for communications across all product lines. Examples may include, eBooks, email communications, social media, articles, and blogs. The Marketing intern will receive direction on tasks primarily from

the Marketing Programs and Operations Manager but may receive guidance from other members of the Marketing Department as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.
  • Add, change and maintain the Digital Asset Management System.
  • Write content for blogs, social media and website.
  • Other marketing duties as assigned.

  • Avid interest to learn while performing daily tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as effective listening and engagement with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and engage and motivate teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints; exceptionally collaborative.
  • Excellent organization skills to drive topics with multiple stakeholders/interests.
  • Problem solving skills that aim to remedy and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Passionate about Clark Pacific's vision and mission; able to promote, demonstrate, and communicate the mission, values and core competencies of Clark Pacific to others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Work Environment
  • General office environment will be experienced.
  • There will be occasional exposure to manufacturing environments which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
  • There will be occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat, wet and/or humid environments
Physical Demands
  • Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing and walking.
  • Occasional: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.
  • Occasional: Bending squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Experience and Education.
  • Interest in Construction/Manufacturing or Marketing is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field (in progress is acceptable) is preferred.
