Internship Overview: Our Marketing team is looking for a motivated
Marketing Intern to join our team this summer. If you're a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, supportive, and high energy marketing environment within the scientific supply industry, this opportunity is for you.
What You'll Do: - Collaborate with the GovSci Marketing Team to bring creative ideas to fruition.
- Research, create, refine and coordinate content for GovSci's website, intranet, social media platforms and marketing materials.
- Contribute to tradeshow success via collaboration with the graphic designer and the coordination of booth materials.
- Support the day-to-day management of the GovSci LinkedIn presence by drafting posts, tracking performance metrics and fostering community engagement.
- Assist with graphic design projects including but not limited to flyers and promotional materials using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
- Provide research, tracking and analytics support for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Support data input and organization.
- Work on various small administrative and marketing tasks.
- Contribute to internal branding initiatives.
What We're Looking For: - Candidates who are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field or who have recently graduated from an accredited college/ university.
- Experience with the Adobe Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Enthusiasm for marketing and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

The Details: - This position requires 2 days a week onsite at the GovSci Headquarters in Reston, VA with ability to work remaining days remotely.
- Scheduled Days Onsite: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Hours: Hours worked should fall between 9:00 am- 5:00 pm (Flexible scheduling)
- Total Hours per Week: Up to 25 hours a week
- Compensation: $16/hr.
