General Description:

Streamworks is a trusted partner and innovative leader in direct marketing and secure mail communications located in Blaine, MN. Our Marketing team is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Marketing Intern to complement its already successful and talented marketing group.

In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on campaigns with our marketing team. Our ideal intern candidate has the skills to produce high-quality, relevant content for social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Applicants should be current students in a post-secondary program taking classes for marketing or social media management. Recent graduates can also apply.

This position reports to the Director, Direct Response Marketing and will have an emphasis on email marketing, landing page creation, social media management and database maintenance.

Marketing Intern Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a communication plan for Streamworks four social media channels
• Create posts, visual assets, and performance reports
• Capture and edit short-form videos for social platforms
• Shoot and edit original footage for use across marketing channels
• Manage inventory of marketing collateral and maintain the image asset database
• Assist in managing the corporate apparel Shopify website
• Optimize website SEO using SurferSEO platform
• Assist with social media campaigns
• Assist with email campaigns
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Marketing Intern Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in marketing, journalism, communication, or related degree (recent graduates considered)
• Prior marketing or communications internship experience a plus
• Experience with video editing and content creation tools
• Knowledge of social media platforms, and basic analytics
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of web and digital based communications (websites, email marketing, etc.)
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail focused
