The Job Details: USCS is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Department with day-to-day activities. This internship will provide the intern with valuable, real-world experience in various aspects of Marketing operations, including brand management, event coordination, social media analysis, and Marketing asset organization. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be asked to complete the tasks below daily:
- Brand & Business Materials Management: Order and manage business cards and digital dot cards.
- Conference Coordination: Maintain the conference SharePoint page, track event costs, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for sponsorships.
- Marketing Asset Organization: Create and approve brand guidelines on our website and manage marketing requests via SharePoint.
- Mascot Research: Investigate the cost and logistics of hiring a mascot (Captain Freeze) for events and create a sign-up sheet/guideline and help refine future strategy.
- Social Media Analysis: Monitor competitor social media accounts and channels, analyze engagement metrics, and prepare competitor research reports.
- Branded Merchandise: Assist in ordering branded merchandise and apparel for company events and outreach. Assist with shipping of merchandise to customers and employees.
- Marketing Materials: Assist in creation and organization of print and digital collateral for Business Development team.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in other Marketing tasks assigned by Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Coordinator as needed.

What We Are Looking For: The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially SharePoint) and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn about Marketing processes.
- Team-oriented, working collaboratively with different departments.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
