Marketing Executive

Location: Preston - Hybrid role 3/2 days in the office
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to 36k PA depending on experience


About the Role

We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and results-oriented Marketing Executive to support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement with our B2B referral business, Key Partnerships. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be involved in campaign planning, content creation, social media management, digital marketing, event coordination, and analytics reporting.

Key Responsibilities


  • Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish marketing copy for websites, blogs, email newsletters, brochures, social media, and other platforms.
  • Digital Marketing: Support SEO/SEM efforts, manage social media content calendars, and help run paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).
  • Event Support: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing webinars, trade shows, and other marketing events.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, DotDigital and Microsoft Dynamics, and prepare reports with actionable insights.
  • Brand Management: Ensure all content and communication adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform campaign strategies.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, DotDigital, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and adapt to changing trends.
  • A, sleeves rolled up, can-do attitude.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience with A/B testing, email automation, or lead generation campaigns.
  • Previous involvement in product launches or go-to-market strategies.
