Summary of Job Purpose The Marketing Assistant & Events Coordinator holds a leadership position on the Marketing Team. This position supports the daily operations of the Marketing team. This position works closely with the Marketing Director to maintain oversight of all aspects of the company's marketing efforts, including but not limited to: online marketing, e-commerce, advertising, direct and e-mail marketing, sales program development, press releases, collateral materials, social media campaigns and promotions. This position is a key member of the Dodge Ridge team. The Event Coordinator position is a highly interactive position that requires a successful candidate to work independently and in a team environment for the overall goal and success of the event. The ability to communicate, multi-task and consistently deliver excellent customer service in a fast paced changing environment is required. This position must remain courteous, friendly and enthusiastic toward guests and other employees at all times.

- Demonstrates and promotes an on-going commitment to delivering excellent customer service with guests and staff, based on maintaining and enhancing a team-oriented culture with all departments and demonstrating a collaborative attitude. This involves interacting with guests in a courteous manner, and being able to answer questions professionally.
- Contributes to a sales oriented environment to enhance and drive sales while matching the needs of our guests.
- Manages office workflow, logistics, deadlines and work product; willingness and ability to work flexible schedules including early morning (5am) shift to handle snow reporting duties.
- Maintains website, snow reports, database, and department policies.
Assists with coordination of events and promotions, on and off site and may represent the Company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the Company. Event set up / tear down, Event operations, Ski Shows, Event Registration, Responsible for longevity of event equipment. - Helps oversee marketing activities and sales plans by providing support, coordinating activities and developing sales plans.
- Assists the Marketing Director with press releases, promotions, advertising, collateral materials, partnerships, social media campaigns and web development.
- Analyzes data for planning and evaluation of programs and services and sales opportunities.
- Responsible for promoting a positive attitude within the organization and community.
- Assists in evaluating financial and profitability goals through planning and budgeting.
- Responsible for company wide marketing communications.
- Follows all Dodge Ridge Handbook Policies and Procedures
Job Qualifications- Bachelor degree preferred in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Must have expert level computer literacy in Windows Operating System, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
- A general working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Mail Chimp, Word Press, Google Analytics and Social Medias advertising platforms preferred.
- Safety and risk management oriented.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Must possess extensive project management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including the 6am snow phone duties as requested or needed.
- Maintain clean, well-organized and professional workstations.
- Intermediate or higher skiing or riding skills preferred.
- Have the willingness to continually learn, grow and update knowledge.
- Have strong and professional communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- General ski and snow industry knowledge preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.

Work SchedulesWeather conditions and the number of guests play a significant role in scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week. You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snow packed, and icy road surfaces.
Working ConditionsAt any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
