Job Title: Marketing Director


Job Summary: We are working with New York's largest healthcare provider in their search for a Marketing Director. The Marketing Director will lead and develop marketing strategies and plans, taking responsibility to ensure successful implementation in support of the organization's business objectives. This role will focus on driving results through integrated marketing campaigns, team leadership, and strategic collaboration with various stakeholders.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a marketing group by effectively communicating with staff members, fostering consensus for programs, and setting clear goals aligned with business, functional, or geographical areas.
  • Develop and communicate short-term strategic visions for areas of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set strategic operating goals, objectives, and budgets. Report on operational performance and provide justifications or corrective actions when necessary.
  • Work with leadership to create integrated marketing campaigns for clinical services, hospitals, and ambulatory facilities, establishing strong relationships with clinical and hospital leadership to identify objectives and opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, ensuring they are tailored to reach target audiences through relevant channels. Integrate various tactics to drive results and support business objectives.
  • Manage a team that oversees day-to-day relationships with external vendors, including advertising agencies, printers, and mail houses. Direct vendors in developing creative and media strategies and execution.
  • Utilize database analysis and market research to guide marketing efforts, providing direction for enhancing digital campaigns and website content.
  • Lead and mentor a team in executing campaigns while fostering professional growth and career development. Support the effective application of corporate identity standards across the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong interdepartmental and vendor relationships to optimize operations.
  • Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations.
  • Oversee scheduling and distribute responsibilities equitably within the team to ensure effective workflow and performance.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8-12 years of experience in marketing, with at least 7+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop successful marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, vendor management, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance in marketing practices.

This position is integral to the success of the organization's marketing initiatives and requires a dynamic leader who can drive strategic vision while developing the marketing team's skills.
