Overview
Working in the healthcare marketing sector, an account executive ensures the smooth running of all marketing activity, from strategy to implementation and reporting/communicating the correct information and impact to all team members. This is a client-facing position that reports to the CEO.
An account executive should be interested in the client in order to develop strong, meaningful relationships. Timely communication is imperative in order to complete projects on time and on budget.
An unrivaled level of organization is expected so that all campaigns and activities run efficiently, with other team members relying on project organization in order to meet deadlines and understand client expectations.
Often account executives will be actively involved in content development and are expected to monitor content and campaign development every step of the way whilst creating an enjoyable work environment and keeping the momentum going.
General Activities:
- Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
- Building a marketing calendar and strategy
- Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients
- Disclosing and gaining approval for all campaign details to the client and all team members
- Monitoring all stages of campaigns to guarantee that they run smoothly
- Creating status reports in conjunction with the lead gen and operations department throughout the duration of the engagement to keep clients and peers updated
- Ensuring that all activities stay within the allocated budget
- Administration tasks that will help to keep campaigns and all marketing activity well-managed and organized
- Offering creative ideas to the client to develop exciting lead gen campaigns and encourage clients to understand the importance of creativity throughout projects
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of healthcare marketing experience
- Ability to develop content as needed and edit content developed by the company's writing staff
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- First-class organizational skills
- A proactive approach to creative projects
- Experience in working as part of a team
- Ability to work remotely and self-motivate
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budget restraints
- Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a cool outlook

Account Executives are paid based on the number of clients managed (monthly payments of 3-4k per client).
