What We Seek - A Dynamic Marketing Director
At McFarlin Stanford, marketing is about understanding people - and building awareness about how our services can satisfy their needs. We're looking for an experienced, versatile, innovative marketing Director who is hungry to promote our company's brand and service, and to grow with us as we continue our rapid growth. To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads.
Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while working across functions to ensure a cohesive brand strategy and message. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, data-driven decision, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. Ultimately, our Marketing Director will be someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.
What We'll Expect from Our Marketing Director
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
- Drive brand awareness established and new markets including professional events, professional associations, state associations, individual companies/owners, and other relevant target audiences
- Execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
- Work with internal and external partners to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics
- Analyze client insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting to extract key insights for future campaign development, growth strategies, and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
- Design and support the marketing needs of the entire organization and key business units
- Participate in the execution of company events and activities associated with peer groups, company conferences or other professional events
How You'll Contribute to the Team
- Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public- facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
- Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and client lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
- Manage content and updates for client and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing sales support
- Gather client and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase client conversions, and generate more qualified leads
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
What Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns (including online and social media)
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM tools, and community platforms like Circle.
- Established press and media contacts preferred
