The Marketing Director provides strategic and creative leadership for the Marketing Department, overseeing all aspects of marketing planning, execution, and performance. This role leads a cross-functional team in delivering results-driven marketing campaigns, supporting product launches, and developing brand-aligned content across all platforms. The Marketing Director is a strong collaborator, working across departments including Sales, Product, and Leadership to ensure marketing aligns with company goals and drives business growth.
Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and lead the company's annual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue goals.
- Partner with Product Managers to develop go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and support materials for new product introductions.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of campaigns and initiatives.
Ad Campaign Management
- Own end-to-end management of all advertising, including:
- Google Ads (Search & Display)
- LinkedIn Ads
- Instagram and Facebook Ads
- Pinterest Ads
- Print Ads in trade publications
- Sponsorship and promotional placements
- Ensure consistency across all ad types and platforms, optimizing creative and targeting to drive engagement.
Creative Direction and Development
- Direct and participate in the development of all marketing creative, including digital graphics, print collateral, presentations, and catalogs.
- Provide creative feedback and brand guidance to the Creative Specialist.
- Lead the messaging and visual strategy for product launches and major campaigns.
Website Management
- Oversee and manage the company's website and collaborate with the Creative Specialist to ensure design, visuals, and content are current and optimized.
- Lead SEO strategy and monitor web analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Branding & Vendor Management
- Manage all external creative and branding vendors including printers, swag vendors, and promotional partners.
- Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all departments and marketing channels.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Product to refine messaging and ensure marketing materials support selling efforts.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to coordinate on campaigns, events, and deliverables.
Analytics, Reporting & Budget
- Analyze campaign performance, web traffic, lead metrics, and marketing ROI.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Oversee the department budget, allocating spend effectively across initiatives.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with a strong portfolio of strategic and creative leadership.
- 3+ years in a marketing management or director-level role.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-channel advertising, digital marketing, and content development.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, social media advertising, email platforms, and web analytics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute integrated campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
