Addison Group's client is actively searching for a new Marketing Coordinator to join the team. Our client is based in the Springfield, VA area and is fully on-site. This is a permanent role with a salary range of $65,000-$70,000 based upon experience. The ideal candidate comes with at least 2-5+ years of marketing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of field-facing marketing and public relations activities. With a heavy focus on data tracking, reporting, and analysis, the Marketing Coordinator assures accurate and complete compliance with retail incentive programs.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Promotions
- Implement and coordinate field-facing marketing initiatives and promotions.
- Participate in key marketing and branding meetings.
- Maintain accurate station profiles (POP sizes, images, hours of operation).
- Order, track, and manage branded/operational materials (e.g., POP, uniforms, CPG items).
- Create and maintain the Marketing Handbook.
- Track and report marketing program expenses.
Media Management
- Draft radio ad scripts and visuals.
- Manage and inventory marketing materials in storage.
Branding
- Coordinate branding efforts across departments and with external contacts.
- Track incentive programs and ensure delivery.
- Maintain accurate projects and programs database.
Mystery Shop & Loyalty Programs
- Collect and analyze station performance data from various brand programs.
- Manage appeals for mystery shop scores monthly.
- Develop improvement materials for field teams.
- Track branding/loyalty program performance metrics.
- Support event planning and execution for station promotions.
Public Relations
- Support community/industry events and be present on-site.
- Track and manage community service initiatives.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and compliments.
- Create presentation and communication materials as needed.
Digital Media
- Update company website content and manage media presence.
- Support digital marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
Industry Association Management
- Maintain company membership with industry associations.
- Coordinate conference/meeting registrations and reporting.
General Support
- Assist Director of PR & Marketing and Brand Manager with projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This role will require travel to sites across the Northern Virginia and DC area for events. A company vehicle is not provided.
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years' of marketing experience
- BS/BA in Marketing, Communication, or a related field of study
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and able to use MS Publisher
- Familiar with content management systems including Canva and Adobe products (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) for graphic design/editing
