Under the guidance of the marketing director and supervisor, the marketing coordinator gains a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, and is capable of leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution, and measuring their performance. The marketing coordinator works closely with the marketing team, agencies, and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget. Campaigns support internet promotions as well as on and offsite consumer events.
The Marketing Coordinator also plays a role in getting product photos and videos of the RV inventory (must be comfortable being outdoors) on a regular basis. For promotion and advertising purposes, this media is used along with authored content on various platforms such as WordPress, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and most especially, Pete's RV web properties.
Requirements Competent writing and communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. Ability to plan, develop, and create content to initiate engagement and brand awareness to attract potential customers. Understanding of SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing, and engagement measurement tools such as Google Analytics. Basic graphic design, videography and photography skills are a plus. Some travel and weekends are required. The Pete's RV marketing department strives to hire and educate our team members with the expectation they cultivate new ways to further improve marketing strategies and results.
Responsibilities and Duties Overview
- Oversee and maintain ongoing campaign and events schedule
- Manage digital content procurement for events and campaigns
- Assist marketing supervisor with promo material design & procurement
- Administrator of all digital marketing platforms, tools and software
- Show lead when schedule calls for event marketing team to split personnel
- Monitor and report regularly on content relativity on all web platform
- Coordinate the deployment of all email campaigns and maintain contact lists
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Interacting with event attendees and serving as spokesperson as necessary
- Demonstrate show ROI through data metrics
- Log daily completed tasks on time tracking software
- Other tasks assigned by the marketing director or ownership team
Qualifications
- Flexible Schedule (including some weekends)
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Comfortable Interacting with the Public (staff, vendors, consumers, media)
- Competent Business Computing (secure with Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc)
- Capable of Completing Light to Moderate Physical Tasks
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- BS degree in marketing or a related field
