SCOPE

The Marketing Coordinator will organize all VENU+ marketing activities and initiatives, contribute to existing marketing strategies and assist in the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. They must have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communication, marketing campaigns, trade show and event coordination, presentations and collateral, asset management, market research and reporting. The right candidate should be an organized multitasker able to manage many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • B2B & B2C Marketing: Develop, execute and measure integrated marketing plans to customers and prospective clients (including, but not limited to, company websites, digital demand strategies and tactics, email, direct mail, advertising campaigns, promotions and events).
  • Trade Show/Event Coordination & Asset Management: Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, assembling mailing lists and managing equipment and inventory.
  • Communication: Work closely with sales and digital teams to maximize automation from web form to CRM, collaborate with internal departments to keep projects organized and moving forward, facilitate in the communication of critical information and liaise with other stakeholders, partners and vendors to accomplish goals.
  • Research & Reporting: Conduct market research, compile consumer-needs reports, track key metrics, analyze trends and assist with monitoring dashboards.
  • Outreach Campaigns: Help create branded campaigns and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating, crafting and publishing content (including ads, promotional materials, presentations, blasts, journeys, posts, etc.).
  • Customer Experience: Create and measure customer-nurture programs, including segmented content unique to the company's audiences and customer surveys to modify the company's position and maximize retention.
  • Program Ownership: Take ownership of our direct-to-agent, loyalty and review sentiment programs, overseeing their planning, execution and performance. This includes setting goals, defining strategies and ensuring program success.
  • Content Development: Develop reputation management strategy, maintain content and pages in accordance with strategy, create and coordinate social content calendar, monitor social media and respond as necessary or forward to Reservation Agent Supervisor II for action.
  • Marketing Collateral & Sales Materials: Implement, maintain and distribute customer-facing collateral, marketing presentations and sales training materials.
  • Brand Messaging: Articulate and drive the company's competitive differentiators by managing brand position in the marketplace, core messaging and value proposition.
  • Resource & Budget Forecasting: Develop and manage marketing resources and budgeting in cooperation with Supervisor, including regular reporting and effectiveness for all campaigns.
  • Marketing Administration: Manage association memberships, monitor deadlines, maintain key resources and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a marketing coordinator or relevant role.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mind with experience in copywriting, advertising concepts, content management and media negotiations.
  • Extremely organized self-starter who can successfully handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptionally detail oriented and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Critical thinker with superb research, ideating, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with metrics tracking, analytics and forecasting.
  • Proven project management, trade show and event coordination experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and software (MS Office, Adobe, Asana) as well as marketing automation tools (MailChimp, Zapier).
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for trade shows, exhibitions, key client presentations and research.
  • Multimedia skills (photography, videography, animation, design, etc.) and knowledge of AP Style are a plus.
