Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in executing strategic marketing initiatives for our artists. This person will be responsible for digital advertising, email marketing, content scheduling, tour promotion, and performance tracking, ensuring all marketing efforts are effectively implemented.
This role requires a mix of creativity, organization, and analytical thinking to optimize marketing campaigns while staying ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about artist development.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Assist in the development of strategic marketing plans for each artist in addition to communicating needs and plans directly to the client and their teams.
- Serve as the primary executor of marketing objectives for assigned clients, including:
- Newsletter creation and deployment via email marketing platforms.
- Digital advertisement creation and maintenance across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads.
- Content calendar development and scheduling for social media and digital campaigns.
- Website updates and maintenance to ensure accurate and current information.
- Minor image asset creation when necessary (using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
- Relevant updates to DSPs (Spotify and Apple Music), including metadata and new release support.
- Submission for playlist consideration on major streaming platforms.
- Monitoring and maintaining social media accounts, ensuring consistency and engagement.
- Includes sharing posts between platforms and optimizing content distribution.
Collaboration & Industry Awareness
- Lead and attend marketing-related meetings as needed on tour, album and various marketing-forward campaigns for the roster.
- Stay informed on marketing trends and industry developments, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Collaborate with internal management on scheduling tour announces and release announcements, at times this will be notifying promoters directly and other times informing the agents and their marketing teams of timelines.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Develop and distribute reports detailing the performance of marketing objectives, that may include:
- Ad performance reports analyzing digital marketing efforts during specific campaigns.
- Show or release specific marketing reports to be completed and distributed in conjunction with the tour date or single/album release.
Tour Marketing & Ticketing Support
- Monitor ticket counts for each artist's tour dates.
- Transfer ticket sales and touring data into internal tracking documents.
- Proactively identify overperforming or underperforming shows and notify the team.
- Assist in developing creative marketing responses for struggling tour dates.
- Updates to Bandsintown, Seated and Songkick for accurate tour listings.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the music industry, entertainment, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and audience growth strategies.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) and website management (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Familiarity with DSP marketing strategies (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
- Experience with paid digital advertising (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) is a plus.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and video editing knowledge (CapCut, Premiere Pro) are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and reporting key marketing metrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
