Summary The Marketing Coordinator works in the Marketing department to assist the managers and Territory Manager's with programs and collateral needed to support sales. The coordinator also works with others in the department to assist with other requests as needed.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities - Manage Baker's social media accounts: respond to comments, messages, and followers; plan monthly content; liaise with social media manager Beson4.
- Collaborate with the design team to create graphics.
- Add events and promotions into Mincron for branch visibility.
- Communicate with vendors for marketing materials
- Administer Baker Online Rewards program: customer support, vetting, month-end reporting.
- Oversee sale center TVs (TriggerPoint): collect monthly material, update content, troubleshoot devices.
- Write and compile quarterly newsletter, Baker Buzz.
- Assist with miscellaneous marketing projects: Basecamp tasks, design team collaboration, web and newspaper advertisements.
- Update Baker Milestones for employee anniversaries.
- Other projects assigned by the Marketing Manager or Director of Marketing
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this position, employees will work in office and other warehouse/storeroom environments on occasion.
Physical Demands - The employee frequently is required to stand, sit or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
- Dependent body mobility to access a standard office environment with shelves and drawers of varying heights.
- Stamina to sit and/or stand up for hours at a time.
- Ability to transport, lift or carry essential work-related materials or items for up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications - Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retail and/or wholesale distribution
- Understanding of business intelligence reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of personal ownership and ability to follow through
- Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Power Point, Forms, familiarity with Salesforce, Basecamp, Hootsuite and other tools is highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
