The Marketing Coordinator will have a passion for brand development, account strategy, data-driven storytelling, product innovation, high-performing media, and building relationships with consumers. Our organization is highly cross-functional, requiring an astute relationship builder who can form quick but meaningful bonds with partners in Sales, Finance, Operations, QA, and more. While regular duties are defined below, our team culture is rooted in providing broad exposure and project management experience to those who desire it, meaning that scope can shift according to bandwidth, interest, and ability. Success in this role will be driven by having a curious and analytical mind, drawing excitement from diverse projects, and a desire to make a distinct and lasting impact on the brand.
Role Responsibilities - Partner with brand team to develop a compelling brand narrative and sales story that supports business initiatives and account-level goals
- Manage development of brand-focused print materials including packaging for both proprietary and private label brands
- Own and update sales collateral (sell sheets, coupons, POS) in partnership with Sales team
- Optimize Farmer Focus brand presence on retail partner websites
- Develop, manage, and report on customer-specific shopper marketing initiatives
- Conduct marketplace audits to report on competitive brand and product trends that will help inform new product development initiatives
- Conceive, coordinate, and support go-to-market plan for innovation launches
- Assist in execution of trade show collateral materials.
- Consult on cross-channel marketing campaigns and social media content strategy
- Capture content that helps to bring that strategy to life
What You Bring to the Role - 0-2 years' experience working in Consumer Packaged Goods, the food industry, or a mission-based brand

Work conducted primarily in an office environment. This role can remote for the right person with a preference for a drivable distance from Harrisonburg, VA. The position is required to visit the corporate office periodically for meetings, team cohesion and collaboration.
On rare occasions, work may require access the production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet, and chill of the plant. Hearing and eye-protective equipment required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area. Must be able to traverse a two-story staircase multiple times per day.
