Job Summary The Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) and Grand Rapids Rise (PVF) seek a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to support a wide range of advertising and promotional efforts. This entry-level role will play an integral part in executing fan-facing initiatives across email marketing, digital and traditional advertising, and gameday promotions-helping to grow our brands, engage fans, and support ticket sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities - Assist in executing marketing campaigns to support season memberships, hospitality packages, group sales, and single-game ticket initiatives
- Promote ticket offers, special events, games, and community initiatives through various channels
- Collaborate with graphic designers to organize and deliver media assets for internal and external use
- Write and edit content for email/SMS marketing, radio spots, social media, and other platforms in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Manage the weekly email marketing calendar and coordinate required assets and approvals
- Analyze campaign performance and other marketing data using dashboards and reporting tools
- Research industry best practices across teams, leagues, venues, and entertainment brands
- Ensure quality control of marketing assets, including copy, design, and digital functionality (e.g., forms and links)
- Contribute ideas to develop creative and engaging ways to grow and connect with the fan base
- Provide general support to marketing and sales initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sports management, or a related field
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships, freelance work, or volunteer experience welcome)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Basic knowledge of email marketing tools, social media platforms, and digital advertising
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- A passion for sports, entertainment, and fan engagement is a plus
