Summary:

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to bring our brand to life. In this role, you'll manage social media, create engaging content, and support on-site promotions and events. Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Develop and manage content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter).

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns while tracking key performance metrics.

• Actively engage with guests online by responding to comments, messages, and reviews.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

• Develop, write, and produce engaging content that aligns with the Wild Waves brand.

• Capture and share live content from park events through photography, video, and social media stories.

• Assist with website content updates and basic WordPress management (preferred).

Marketing & Promotions Support

• Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with promotions, including season pass campaigns, in-park activations, and special events.

• Collaborate with other departments (Public Relations, Catering, Front Gate, etc.) on marketing-related initiatives.

Media & Guest Relations

• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts.

• Respond to guest service emails and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide support for the call center and provide updated information for accurate communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required Skills:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Passion for marketing, social media, and guest engagement.

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and audience engagement strategies.

• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Photoshop.

• Positive, proactive, and creative team player.

• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in photography, video editing, and/or content creation.

• Basic knowledge of WordPress for content management.

• Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools).

• Previous experience in a marketing or supervisory role.

Additional Requirements:

• Must maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards.

• Strong commitment to safety, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff.

• Ability to pass a background check (criminal, drug, alcohol, and social security screenings).

• Must be able to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work both indoors and outdoors.

Pay Range: $30 - $34 per hour
