The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing and communication initiatives to enhance engagement, awareness, and participation in programs, events, and organizational initiatives. This role assists with content creation, digital marketing, and campaign coordination across multiple platforms. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the marketing team to ensure seamless execution of strategies. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and creative professional with strong communication skills and a passion for marketing. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines Marketing & Content Development: Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns for educational programs, events, fundraising initiatives, and membership engagement. Create compelling content for email campaigns, social media, website updates, and printed materials. Design marketing assets such as flyers, digital graphics, and promotional materials. Support marketing efforts for research grants, career development programs, and partnerships. Digital Marketing & Website Management: Assist with website updates, including adding new content, optimizing existing pages, and maintaining accuracy. Coordinate the scheduling and execution of email marketing campaigns. Support the management of digital advertising and promotional efforts. Track and report on key marketing performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach. Podcast Management: Schedule and coordinate the recording, editing, and publishing of podcast episodes. Promote podcast content through digital and social media channels. Assist with video content creation and marketing as needed. Event & Conference Marketing Support: Assist in marketing efforts for conferences and events, including content development, promotional campaigns, and attendee engagement. This position requires a proactive, adaptable individual who is eager to contribute to a dynamic marketing team and help drive impactful engagement. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 1-3 years of experience in content marketing, editorial planning, or digital communications ideally in a membership organization or association. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging and accessible content. Experience supporting marketing campaigns. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize. Experience with or a project management platform, WordPress and Informz Experience analyzing content performance and audience data for content planning.
