Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will be key in supporting retail and e-commerce marketing initiatives. From crafting compelling copy to executing grassroots marketing campaigns, this individual will be a collaborative, hands-on contributor who brings ideas to life across digital and in-store touchpoints. You'll serve as a key marketing resource for our store operators, ensuring marketing campaigns are executed effectively in stores while supporting the broader brand message online.
This is an excellent role for a self-starter who is passionate about retail, e-commerce, and growing in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in developing and executing retail grassroots marketing plans that drive foot traffic and sales.
- Support the planning, writing, and scheduling of marketing emails in collaboration with the broader team.
- Contribute to social media content creation and scheduling across platforms.
- Write clear, engaging copy for various marketing channels, including the web, email, social media, signage, and more.
- Act as the primary marketing point of contact for store operators, ensuring that in-store marketing materials are received, understood, and implemented.
- Help coordinate the creation and distribution of in-store signage, promotional kits, and campaign assets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with retail, ecommerce, and creative teams to support integrated campaigns.
- Stay up to date on marketing trends and suggest fresh ideas to engage customers in-store and online.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail or ecommerce
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter mindset with a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) a plus
- Graphic design or Canva skills are a plus, but not required
- A love of food, spices, and cooking is a big bonus.
