Marketing Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Marketing Coordinator where your contributions will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to grow within a dynamic work environment. In this role, you will assist the Marketing Manager in managing all brands for Rapid Deployable Systems, LLC.

This role will contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment as the RDS team continues to grow.
Manage inventory of marketing literature and swag. Keep the marketing closets neat and organized. Alert the marketing manager when literature or swag amounts are low so that orders for replenishment can be placed promptly.
Manage digital receipts and invoices for multiple brands, keep files organized and up to date. Coordinate with Accounting to provide information when requested.
Coordinate with outside vendors to order marketing and promotional materials, ensure timely shipping and delivery to the destination.
Compile marketing literature packets for the sales teams and coordinate with our shipping/receiving department to ensure literature is delivered in a timely manner.
Schedule social media posts for all brands using Sprout Social. Monitor the Sprout Social inbox for comments and questions on social media pages and respond when appropriate.
Develop ideas for social media posts that include engaging copy with strong call-to-action and eye-catching graphics.
Assist the marketing manager with proofreading product specification sheets, catalogs and brochures.
Assist the marketing manager in creating new marketing pieces in Adobe InDesign that adhere to branding guidelines.
Assist with updating content on company websites using Wordpress/Elementor.
Collaborate with multiple departments, including R&D, commercial sales, and military sales on marketing projects.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Experience with Sprout Social and Wordpress is strongly preferred but willing to train the right candidate
Basic experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of an associate degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. A bachelors degree is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education/work experience will be considered for the right candidate.
