We're seeking a passionate and organized Marketing Coordinator to help amplify our message and grow our reach.
Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will support the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote our programs, engage supporters, and enhance our organizational visibility. They will support the Director of Marketing and External Relations, Creative Content Manager and Digital Marketing Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and wants to make a tangible impact through creative communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with organizational goals and values
- Create and manage content for social media, email newsletters, websites, and printed materials
- Coordinate storytelling efforts-gathering testimonials, photos, and impact stories from program participants and staff
- Manage the project management system ensuring all projects are recorded and on schedule.
- Support fundraising and donor engagement campaigns through targeted communications
- Help plan and promote events, both virtual and in-person, such as fundraisers, community workshops, and volunteer days
- Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels
- Collaborate with Director of Marketing and External Relations, Creative Content Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Support other internal teams, volunteers, and external partners to amplify our message
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit development
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
- A genuine passion for nonprofit work and community impact
- Bonus: Experience with design tools like Canva, WordPress or Adobe Creative Suite
Physical Requirements
- Maintain an office onsite at Atlanta ARMHC.
- Light sedentary office work; frequent sitting required.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to travel between locations as needed.
