Job Summary: Reports to the Vice President of Marketing. The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of integrated marketing and social media strategies under the direction of the Marketing Communications Manager/VP of Marketing. This role plays a crucial position within the organization as a whole by connecting interdepartmentally service the internal customers that need marketing support, materials and assets arranged to support operations with a keen eye set on maintaining our Great Experiences by Design enterprise-wide. Key areas of focus are assisting to maintain brand consistency across digital platforms, donor relations, events and some patient interactions; this role provides essential support for marketing initiatives and donor communications.
Key Responsibilities:Digital Marketing & Social Media Management: - Collaborate to execute social media content strategy across all platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with target audiences.
- Directly or through vendor relations, the coordinator will monitor and maintain social media presences, including content creation, community management, and performance tracking.
- Interface with vendors to update website content and maintain digital assets in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Create and schedule social media content calendars in coordination with broader marketing initiatives.
Donor Relations & Sponsor Coordination: - Support the implementation of donor communication strategies, including acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and special recognitions.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of sponsorship materials and benefit fulfillment tracking.
- Help maintain donor and sponsor databases with accurate contact information and engagement history.
- Coordinate social media recognition for donors and sponsors according to established guidelines.
- Support the preparation of materials for donor meetings and sponsor presentations.
- Assist with gathering impact stories and testimonials for donor communications.
Marketing Support & Implementation: - Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials across various channels.
- Support the creation and maintenance of marketing calendars and campaign timelines.
- Help coordinate with external vendors and creative agencies for content creation and campaign materials.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and marketing collateral inventory.
Event & Program Support: - Provide logistical support for organizational events, including setup, social media coverage, and post-event communications.
- Assist with donor and sponsor recognition programs implementation.
- Support the coordination of volunteer teams during events.
- Help maintain event-related documentation and promotional materials.
Communications & Content Creation: - Write and edit content for various marketing channels, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.
- Ideate and participate in strategic planning of new initiatives
- Assist in developing engaging storytelling content that highlights organizational impact.
- Support the creation of donor communications and sponsorship materials.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
Administrative & Analytics: - Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and results.
- Support budget tracking for marketing initiatives and social media campaigns.
- Assist with vendor coordination and invoice processing.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or social media management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends.
- Experience with basic graphic design and photo editing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Requirements: - Proficiency in social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
- Working knowledge of content management systems and basic HTML.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
