Summary/Objective
At Komet USA, we believe great marketing doesn't just describe what we do-it tells the story of why we do it and who we do it for. The Marketing Content Specialist plays a critical role in shaping that narrative. This role is responsible for creating compelling, audience-driven content that positions the customer as the hero and Komet as their trusted guide-whether they're a dentist, specialist, lab technician, or student.
Using principles from StoryBrand 2.0 and embracing a For the Customer mindset, the Specialist develops high-impact assets across email, digital, print, video, and social. Their work powers integrated marketing campaigns that drive product adoption, engagement, and loyalty while ensuring all communications reflect the brand's voice, tone, and strategic direction. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with product management, design, training, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Management
Develop and write compelling content across channels (email, social, brochures, flyers, landing pages, ads, sales tools) that reflects Komet's positioning and meets segment-specific needs.
Execute email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automation, content creation, and timing.
Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Professional Affairs, and Events teams to create content for product launches, campaigns, trade shows, and customer education.
Assist with content creation and management of organic and paid social media
Write and edit engaging content for internal audiences, including news, updates, announcements, and stories.
Help manage and update the company intranet and other internal communication platforms.
Marketing and Brand Communications
Support and execute co-branded campaigns and third-party marketing plans in collaboration with strategic partners and dealers.
Contribute to the development of storytelling frameworks that speak to clinician pain points, outcomes, and aspirations, positioning Komet as a guide and problem-solver.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a consistent brand identity
Digital Performance
Use tools like Hootsuite, Klaviyo, Google Analytics and other monitoring tools to track and analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on organic and paid social media metrics, such as engagement rate, reach, click-through rate, email metrics, such as open rates and conversions, and other digital KPIs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or campaign development (B2B or healthcare/dental preferred).
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating campaign assets for digital, print, and social platforms.
Experience and working knowledge of social media management tools (eg Hootsuite or similar) and email marketing tools (eg Klaviyo or similar)
Experience and working knowledge of graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva etc.); video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Rush) a plus.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with storytelling and messaging frameworks such as StoryBrand 2.0 a strong plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work schedule is hybrid with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office and Monday and Friday remote work.
Travel
10 - 20% travel is required.
