Marketing & Communications Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage the overall marketing plan and budget; track performance metrics and prepare reports.
- Content & Collateral: Create, organize, and update marketing materials including flyers, presentations, and promotional content; coordinate with vendors for production.
- Digital & Social Media: Manage website updates for content and compliance; develop and schedule social media content across platforms; support digital banking marketing initiatives.
- Campaigns & Advertising: Design and implement digital and print advertising; support sales campaigns with collateral and tracking; draft and manage email marketing efforts.
- Events & Sponsorships: Plan and coordinate events, trade shows, and sponsorships; manage logistics and ensure brand visibility.
- Public Relations: Write and distribute press releases, manage media relations, and represent the organization at public and community events.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and gather insights to inform strategies and support internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, customer relations, & event planning (including at least 1 year in a financial or banking environment)
- Proven ability to develop and manage integrated marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong background in social media strategy, event coordination, and marketing collateral development
- Experience working independently or as part of a small team, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with branch or field network operations and corresponding marketing needs
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Canva, Hootsuite, WordPress, and Constant Contact (or similar tools)
- Comfortable identifying and recommending technology solutions to improve marketing efficiency
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree for highly qualified candidates
