Premier complex litigation boutique law firm is seeking a strong Marketing & Business Development Manager for their Los Angeles office. This role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing and business development initiatives, as well as strategic guidance for enhancing the firm's visibility in the legal market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating, managing, and executing all external communications, messaging, and content across the firm's email (via Constant Contact), website, and LinkedIn page
Supporting managing partner with firm-wide communications and strategic planning
Collecting and maintaining an experience database for award submissions, pitches and proposals, surveys, and legal directories/editorials
Maintaining firm contacts and mailing lists in contact management database
Preparing materials for responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), pitches, and other bids
Drafting outlines and creating PowerPoints for webinars, CLE presentations, and pitches
Drafting all legal ranking and award submissions
Working collaboratively with vendors to fulfill firm obligations and projects
Managing and tracking firm-wide marketing and business development expenses for annual budget reporting
Working collaboratively on projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Graphic design experience and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign and Illustrator)
Excellent writing skills; applicants should be expected to submit a writing sample
Excellent communication, proofing and copy editing skills are critical to the role's success
Quick learner, team player, and ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
