Job Summary: The Marketing Automation Specialist leads our email marketing and automation initiatives, designing and implementing sophisticated communication workflows through Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive engagement throughout the online student journey. This strategic role is ideal for a data-driven marketing professional who can optimize the student experience from prospect to graduate through effective automation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Automation Strategy & Technical Implementation - Design and implement complex automation workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (primary focus).
- Create and optimize dynamic content blocks, AMPscript, and personalization strings.
- Manage API integrations between marketing platforms and other systems.
- Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies using Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM data.
- Build and maintain technical documentation for automation processes.
Campaign Execution & Management - Execute diverse email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, encompassing ad-hoc and automated initiatives from various departments.
- Implement SMS/Text campaigns utilizing Salesforce, Mogli, and Contact Engine.
- Manage comprehensive campaign processes including quality assurance, testing, scheduling, deployment, and post-campaign analysis.
Performance Analysis & Optimization - Track and analyze key performance metrics to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Conduct ongoing audits and develop plans to improve communication effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine targeting and optimize campaigns.
Qualifications:Education: Experience: - Demonstrated experience in executing high-volume email marketing campaigns
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and automation workflows
- Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office applications and marketing SaaS platforms
