About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our marketing efforts. This role requires a technically skilled, data-driven, with a deep understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing marketing automation workflows, supporting lead generation and nurturing efforts, analyzing campaign performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

What you'll do

Automation Management:

Build, maintain, and optimize automated marketing campaigns across platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, and Salesforce.

Design lead workflows, lead scoring models, email nurtures, and CRM integrations.

Form and Campaign Management:

Create, test, and optimize web forms and landing pages to drive lead generation and improve user experience.

Build and manage Salesforce Campaigns, including campaign hierarchy creation (parent/child), tracking, member management (ex: registered, attended), and reporting (ex: MQL, SQL, SQO, Pipeline).

Campaign Execution and Optimization:

Execute A/B tests, monitor campaign performance, and continuously optimize for conversion and engagement.

Collaborate with content, design, and demand generation teams to align campaigns with broader marketing strategies.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve automation issues quickly and proactively.

Regularly test workflows to ensure functionality and user experience integrity.

Compliance and Best Practices:

Ensure all marketing communications comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other applicable regulations.

Project Management:

Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams to align marketing automation initiatives with business goals.

Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Expertise

Technical Proficiency

Strong expertise in marketing automation platforms: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce.

Proficiency in CRM systems and content management systems (CMS).

Skilled in segmentation, reporting tools, and campaign management.

Skilled in building and optimizing forms, landing pages, and automation workflows.

Analytical Skills

Data collection, interpretation, and application to marketing strategies.

A/B testing, experimentation methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.

Compliance Knowledge

Familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and global marketing regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong experience with form creation, optimization, and management across web properties and landing pages.
  • Practical experience creating, managing, and reporting on Salesforce Campaigns, including campaign hierarchies and campaign member management.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct marketing database management, including data cleansing, enrichment, segmentation, and hygiene best practices.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies to improve marketing campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management and lead scoring models.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor email and landing page edits
  • Certifications in HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or Google Analytics
