What You Will Do:

As a Marketing Associate, you will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives that promote our firm's services, expertise, and project portfolio. This position bridges strategy and execution - ideal for a professional with a few years of experience looking to step up and take ownership of impactful projects. You will report to the VP of Client Development and collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content, coordinate proposals, and maintain our brand presence across digital and print platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and business development strategies.


• Support the preparation of proposals, qualifications, and presentations in response to RFPs/RFQs.


• Create, edit, and manage marketing content including project sheets, staff bios, case studies, blog posts, and social media copy.


• Help maintain and update the company website and social media channels with fresh, relevant content.


• Coordinate and track internal marketing deadlines and calendars.


• Assist with planning and logistics for events, conferences, and client engagements.


• Conduct secondary research on markets, clients, and competitors to support strategic planning.


• Maintain and organize marketing collateral, image libraries, and CRM data (experience with HubSpot preferred).


• Collaborate with and support our external PR firm on media relations, press releases, and thought leadership opportunities.


• Support the development of internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.


Key Success Factors:


• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.


• Design awareness and a good eye for layout, visual storytelling, and brand consistency.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign), and content management systems.


• Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including social media and email marketing.


• Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, is a plus.


• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• A collaborative attitude with a willingness to pitch in across a variety of tasks and projects.


Ideal Education, Registrations and Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.


• 5-8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the AEC industry or a related professional services field.
