We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant/Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, and passionate about using social media and marketing best practices to support the firm's mission and further our brand. Responsibilities: As the Marketing Assistant/Social Media Specialist, you will play a key role in executing marketing strategies and managing our social media presence. You'll be responsible for content creation, campaign support, and maintaining cohesive brand messaging across various platforms. • Develop and schedule engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Monitor social channels for feedback, trends, and timely engagement opportunities.
• Track and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement conversions). Content Creation & Curation:
• Working with direction from our Content Marketing Manager, collaborate with attorneys and staff to identify compelling client stories, educational topics, and firm achievements.
• Design graphics, capture photos/videos, and draft copy aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ensure all content complies with legal and ethical regulations relevant to the industry. Brand & Marketing Support:
• Assist with the production of marketing materials (flyers, newsletters, advertisements) in both digital and print formats.
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns, events, and community outreach programs.
• Help maintain the firm's website by updating content, news, and announcements. Administrative & Project Coordination:
• Coordinate with vendors, designers, and other external partners as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated understanding of major social media platforms and best practices.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines concurrently. Physical Demands/Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with coworkers, clients and/or outside vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Compensation: $37,500 - $45,000 yearly
